Since 2006, Model Ship Master has been consistently in short of manpower.  Lead time for a custom order was increased from 6 to 9 months in 2007 and is scheduled to increase to 12 months next year.  If you are a master craftsman who wish to showcase your talents while earning some extra money, we can talk.

We offer at least $20/hr if you are very efficient.  You must be able to work more than 10 hrs per week, at your own place.  You will have an assistant who is specialized in creating small details.  If you don't like to perform the most difficult, time-consuming parts such as planking the hulls or rigging a tall ship, we can provide another specialist to assist you.  Use of a digital camera is a must as you'll have to send in progress photos every month for feedback/correction.

Model Ship Master receive lots of custom orders each month.  Many of them are from museums and naval academies.   If you're good, we'll give you some of those wonderful projects.   To initiate our interest, email us some photos of your masterpiece.  Note that we only recruit efficient master craftsmen.
