During the 16th century the most feared of all ships were the Spanish Galleons.  And The most fearsome ships of the Spanish Armada were her galleons.  The San Francisco II  represented the mainstay ships of the Spanish Armada. From that time and for nearly 150 years these sturdy ships reigned the high seas.
