HMS Mordaunt

HMS Mordaunt was a 46-gun fourth rate ship of the line of the English Royal Navy.   She had been privately built and launched in 1681.  In 1683, Mordaunt was purchased into the navy in 1683. 

On October 4, 1689 Mordaunt took part in a battle with 12 French warships.
