Build by naval architect William D. Jackson, this 15' boat could run faster than 75 mph and have only one point of contact with the water: its propeller.

This Panther model features:  

- Scratch-built.

- Plank-on-frame construction.  

- Heartwood Honduras Mahogany (best mahogany type.)

- 11 layers of paint and varnish.  Each was left to dry and micro sanded before apply another layer.

- Hundreds of tiny copper nails.

- Epoxy waterproof.
