Celebrity Flora marks an evolutionary turning point in
the approach to ship design—creating a sense of being
truly immersed in the destination, instead of just
visiting it.
Celebrity Flora is the first ship of its kind designed
and built specifically with he Galapagos Islands
destination in mind. Every space, including the
all-suites accommodations, features innovative
outward-facing concept, so the destination is the center
of attention at every turn.
On this
100 passenger luxury mega yacht, every stateroom is a
suite. Delectable menus is curated by a Michelin-starred
chef.
This
Celebrity Cruises' newest addition to the fleet uses a
dynamic positioning system to avoid having to drop
anchor. It will also convert sea water and condensation
from air conditioning into fresh water.
Francesca Bucci of BG Studio International
created and execute Flora’s design concept. Keeping
sustainable luxury paramount to the experience, the
100,000-square-foot interior pairs exquisite custom
furnishings with intimate spaces, blending seamlessly
with the sea, land and sky above.
Bucci
thoughtfully honors Flora’s Galapagos heritage, taking
care to source upscale and sustainable materials,
including furniture by Adriana Hoyos. Pieces by
Equadorian native Hoyos are inspired by the landscape
and character of the exotic locale.
Visitors will be captivated once aboard Flora,
transitioning from point of entry at Darwin’s Cove to
the Ocean Grill and Discovery Lounge, up to the
Observatory and extensive decks to the luxurious suites
and sweeping balconies.
