At 70.07 meters
(229 feet), Galactica Super Nova is not only
Heesen Yachts’ largest yacht ever, but certainly
one of the fastest superyachts in this size
range, topping out at an eye-watering 30 knots.
Galactica Super Nova uses the revolutionary Fast
Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) technology,
designed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects. It
was first applied by Heesen Yachts.
This custom round bilged displacement yacht is
equipped with an ultra-modern stabilization
system which reduces roll motion effect. She
also features bow thrusters making her more
manoeuvrable at low speeds.
For the interiors, the owners chose Sinot
Exclusive Yacht Design (SYED) that used a wide
range of leathers as a basis for the design,
which included a variety of rocks like calacatta
luccicoso marble and different types of onyx.
Acclaimed designer Sabrina Monteleone shows her
creative spirit in the decoration with art
pieces, tableware, interior and exterior
furniture, sheets, bedding, and lighting.
Galactica Super Nova has an incredible 357
square meters of deck space. From its luxurious
sundeck to the beach club, there are twelve
alternatives for guests to choose from,
including sunbathing, dining, spa, Jacuzzis,
jet-pool or just lounging around in the sun or
shade.
Designer Espen Oeino put his own twist on a
Heesen icon to deliver a yacht with a powerful
yet sleek and sensual look. That never-ending
foredeck and arching top deck structure is sure
to set Galactica Super Nova apart in any port.
Sporty grey and red accents serve as a reminder
of the yacht’s performance credentials for those
who might find the sheer size of the yacht a bit
too misleading.
