WESTPORT YACHTS TRENDING
The 49.71m Trending yacht (ex:
Vango) was built in 2006 by Westport.
The extensive refit from 2015 to
2016 costing $4 million
transforming her into a stunning
superyacht with a brand new
sophisticated interior,
state-of-the-art technology, and
an impressive collection of
water toys.
A bridge extension was added
behind the tri-deck’s upper
saloon, creating an additional
raised dining area for all 12
guests.
Oversized
windows pour light on to the
chrome, taupes, mirrors and
creams. Light marble and white
stone were laid across the main
saloon. Rainforest showers and
double sinks grace every en
suite. The finish is royally
comfortable, with sky blue
fabrics and enough crystal
glasses to decant the entire
Napa Valley.
The owners' experience from 40
charters was distilled into
Trending. There are underwater
photography portraits from as
far afield as St Barths, Barbuda
and Saba, the Dutch Caribbean
island that contains the
Netherlands’ highest peak.
Boasting exceptional deck space,
Trending’s super-sized sundeck
features a large eight-person
hot tub surrounded by sun pads
and a bar; perfect for afternoon
cocktails. She also has a second
sundeck bar for entertaining and
an oversized U-shaped soft
seating area.
She also features
state-of-the-art audio, video
and Wi-Fi systems allowing
music, videos and photos to be
played and displayed wirelessly
from guests’ iPhones. All
televisions are ultra high
definition.
Trending's flotilla of toys is
impressive. There are Seabobs
for speed snorkelling and
glass-bottomed kayaks for slow
drifts across virgin reefs. There are two Novurania tenders,
four metre and 5.5 metre, the
latter with 120hp out back for
fishing, diving, island picnics
or secret beach retreats. The
flotilla flagship is a 11.3
meter Boston Whaler which has
air-conditioned front cabin,
electric shades, a barbecue,
night vision equipment...

wide.
