VIRGINIA-CLASS SUBMARINE MODEL
USS VERMONT
SSN-792

USS Vermont is the first of Virginia-class Block IV submarines. The submarine is 377 feet long, has a 34-foot beam, and will be able to dive to depths greater than 800 feet and operate at speeds in excess of 25 knots underwater.

Vermont is a flexible, multi-mission platform designed to carry out the seven core competencies: anti-submarine warfare; anti-surface warfare; delivery of special operations forces; strike warfare; irregular warfare; intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; and mine warfare.

SSN-792 will provide the Navy with the capabilities required to maintain the nation's undersea superiority well into the 21st century.

We offer this primarily wood model of the Virginia class submarine in three sizes:

22.5" long  (1/2oo scale) $1,970 Shipping and insurance in the contiguous US included. Other places: $200 flat rate.

32.5" long (1/144 scale) $2,590 Shipping and insurance in the contiguous US included. Other places: $300 flat rate.

45" long (1/1oo scale) $3,700 Shipping and insurance in the contiguous US included. Other places: $400 flat rate. 

The models will come with a wooden base. If you'd like the special base with lighting as in the photos, it is $500 extra.

Model is built per commission only. We require only a small deposit (Not full amount, not even half) to start the process: $900 The remaining balance won't be due until the model is completed, in about 4 months.
